sometimes i dream vividly that i am in a faraway land, with sounds and sights and even flavourful tastes, and sometimes, if i'm lucky, i will wake up from this dream floating thousands of feet above the earth at the beginning of an adventure unfolding.
then again, every day i wake up to the beginning of an adventure unfolding.
for now: a part of egypt is in seattle and i am excited to go see it. in 2009 i stepped off of an airplane on which i had worked a year earlier and embarked on a journey up and down the nile that would be filled with lasting visions and lasting friendships.
